About Family Day Care
Family Day Care (FDC) is a home-based child care service.

Family Day Care is available for children aged between 6 weeks and 12 years in the safety checked homes of highly professional and qualified Educators. All Educators are supported by a coordination team of Sunshine Family Day Care Servise
Educators provide children with an individual program that supports their educational, emotional, physical and social development in a small group environment.
About Sunshine Family Day Care
Sunshine Family Day Care is an approved education and care service.
This is regulated by Federal Government and partially funded by the Commonwealth Government. Sunshine Family Day Care provides children with a safe comfortable homely environment. All programs are centred around play based learning, catering for each individual child and within a group setting and based on Australian Framework
The service caters for children up to the age of 12 years. Subject to vacancies FDC can provide:
Full and part-time care
Before and after school, curriculum days, school holiday care
Weekend and evening care

Family Day Care Educators
Professional care
The FDC Educators operate under a service agreement with the Sunshine Family Daycare PTY LTD
Under the Childrens Services regulations, FDC Educators are able to provide care for up to four children not attending school, and three children attending school, for a maximum of seven children; including the FDC Educator's own children.
Our Educator hols the minimum Certificate III qualification and mostly of our Family Day Care educators are either actively working towards or have obtained Diploma in Each Childhood education . Each educator in our service is mentored and supported for the best interest of children in each educator’s residence.
Sunshine Family Day Care Service and coordination Unit ensure the safety and needs of the children are met at each eductor home. Our coordinator's monitor and support coordinator for the safety of the children

Approved Learning Framework
Being. Becoming. Beloning
Sunshine family day care educators provide the program based on approved leaning framework:
Early Years Learning framework (for children 0 - 5 years old) and
My Time Our Place (for school age children)
Those frameworks are Based on the Concept of Being, Belonging and Becoming: ​
Being – Simply means letting each child be who they are and letting children be children giving them the sense that they are free to explore the world around them.
Belonging – Children learn best when they feel as though they belong to their families, to their communities and to the world at large. By helping a child increase his sense of belonging you can help provide a safe and comfortable environment in which a child can learn.
Becoming – Simply means that a child continues to grow by experiencing new things. It is simply the acceptance that as a child learns and grows he is constantly changing.
Each educator documents learning and development of the children in their Education and Care. Please ensure that you talk to your child’s educator who will be happy to show and discuss your child’s individual developmental records and documentation.
Child Care subsidy (CCS)
The government support to reduce the cost of childcare
The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is a payment made by the Australian Government to help families with the cost of child care. To register for CCS, please contact the Family Assistance office on 136 150

When you have been assessed according to your income level, you will only pay the educator the discounted fee at the end of each week. The educator will receive the CCS component directly from the service.

Sunshine Family Day Care support families who is working on casual arrangement or need a care from time to time
Before and After School Care
Sunshine Family Day Care Educators provide support to the families with before and after school care. During this time educator provide the program to support school age children development and wellbeing
